We had a wonderful stay in this cozy little house, located in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The house is well equipped and offeres everything required for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful view from the terrace, which we especially enjoyed during breakfast. The place is perfect for retreat and relaxation. There are also several hiking routes close by.
Check-in and check-out were easy and uncomplicated. The host was very helpful and always reachable. His mother lives right next door and is an exceptionally warm, kind, and welcoming person, which made our stay even more pleasant.
It’s worth noting that we had no mobile phone reception in that area (D1/Telekom resp. Movistar here) and the Wi-Fi connection was somewhat unstable. However, we personally found this quite beneficial for disconnecting and truly relaxing. In the center of Vallehermoso mobile reception worked well, making it easy to check the waves & weather forecast, plan routes, and take care of practical matters. There are also two well-stocked supermarkets there.
Overall, a lovely place that we would happily recommend to anyone looking for peace, nature, and a genuine local experience.
