Lake Austin Retreat - 3 miles from downtown

The cozy outdoor TV/Living area is the perfect place for game night or watching a movie while grilling at the outdoor kitchen. It is located just off the kitchen which makes entertaining your guests that much easier. And the front porch with swing and chairs is the best place to gather, relax and people watch anytime of the day

The main bedroom, including an en-suite bathroom, and 3 guest bedrooms are all located upstairs. Each room is adorned in beautiful natural light with windows throughout. The 5th/optional bedroom is a private multi purpose downstairs suite which includes: a day bed, full bathroom, and a separate private home entrance. An outside casita, serving as a 6th bedroom, is attached to the garage and provides additional privacy with a queen bed and separate living area.

If you aren’t in the mood for cooking, this house is also a very casual 5 minute walk to the lake where you can enjoy acclaimed waterfront eateries such as Hula Hut, Mozart’s and Quince. Or a 5 minute UBER gets you into downtown Austin with a plethora of great restaurants and bars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bridle Path location. It is a great location right outside of all the great restaurants and places to visit in Austin. Would highly recommend this location to anyone who is interested in visiting Austin. Plenty of room and it’s cozy.

Perfect for a Group

My 5 business partners and I visited for a long weekend to enjoy Austin and also have our mid-year meetings. Each of us had our own room with nice accommodations. Check in process was easy and welcome basket was a nice touch. Perfect family home in lovely neighborhood!

This home is lovely, large, and comfortable inside, but what is really exceptional are the outdoor spaces. The front porch is large with comfortable furniture and looks out on the most beautiful tree lined street. The back outdoor space is also large with comfortable furniture, a fireplace and a grill. Mark & Darla were a delight to deal with and made us feel so welcome! Highly recommend!

Perfect Experience

My wife and I along with my three other adult children and their partners came to Austin to celebrate my oldest daughter's wedding. The home was perfect. Great location. Owner extremely responsive and addresses issues quickly. Unfortunately, record high temperatures in Austin the week we were there caused some issues that were out of property owner's control and limited our ability to enjoy outdoor elements of property. Overall the property is great, just a little tired in spots that can be addressed to make it even better.

Wonderful home for a group

This house far exceeded our expectations. Communication with the owners was easy and efficient. They went out of their way to return a pillow left behind. The house was spotless, and in great shape. Very evident that is just been cleaned well. Stocked with every utensil, supply, etc that we needed, including extensive bar ware and glasses. Sonos was easy and wonderful. Bedrooms were comfortable. We had 11 people, which was maybe pushing it. 9-10 might be perfect. The outdoor space is perfect. Weather was gorgeous, so we sat outside straight for 3 days. Location was terrific, with groceries 4m away. I would happily recommend this property, the owners, and would stay again in a heartbeat.
