(Please get in touch if you’re interested in making a booking for The 2026 Open, the house is about an hour’s drive from Royal Birkdale or slightly longer via train from West Kirby)

Recently renovated five double bedroom house in West Kirby with amazing views over the Dee Estuary and North Wales.

There is a terrace at the front overlooking the Marine Lake, enjoy a drink and watch the sun set! The house also has off-road parking and a courtyard garden with table and chairs at the rear.

It’s a short walk to the many shops, pubs and restaurants of West Kirby and the railway station, for trains to Liverpool and Chester, is a 10 minute walk away.

Royal Liverpool Golf Club is a five minute drive and West Kirby beach and Marine Lake are on the doorstep. Cheshire Oaks outlet village is around a 20 minute drive.

The property is perfect in every way the listing almost doesn’t do it justice. We loved the sunsets from the balcony at the front. The shaded courtyard for coffee, proximity to beach and shops and restaurants make it to convenient. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful house in a great seafront location. We had seven of us from three generations and everybody loved it. All the rooms are spacious and the kitchen is superbly well-equipped. The host is really helpful and very responsive to any questions. We'd love to come back.

This property sits right on the promenade offering spectacular views across to Wales. The location is perfect for going out for a walk around the Marine Lake or just up the road to a variety of stores and restaurants. There is a train station not far away for easy trips to Liverpool or Chester. The accommodation is set out over 3 floors and has ample space to accommodate a family and is tastefully decorated in neutral tones creating a relaxed environment. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. There are two bathrooms, one large and one small, situated separate from the bedrooms making it ideal if travelling in a larger group. Lucy went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and we shall no doubt be staying there again on our return trip to the Wirral.

This place is simply amazing! The pictures don't do justice for the layout and design of it. The decor is fabulous, and everything was so comfortable! We truly felt at home. The kitchen is very well stocked, and Lucy even supplied a lovely welcome basket with drinks for adults and kids, and treats for all! The amenities provided were excellent, even more fun and fancy than described (loved the remote for shades and curtains in the master), and I was even surprised to find a hair straightener and steamer, which is super helpful if you are traveling from somewhere outside the UK. There were loads of kid-friendly kitchen items and so many games and puzzles for a rainy day in. Make sure you explore the drawers in the rooms, because you'll find more activities in them! Information about using the property was so clear, and more detailed than we've experienced in other listings (manuals for shades, oven, washing machine etc). Lucy was not only very responsive but also very kind. She has thought of everything! If we come to this area again, we will 100% be staying here... except next time even longer! The locals are so friendly and helpful and we enjoyed every interaction. The location is also located very close to a small supermarket that is open until 10 pm, in case you need to run out for anything last minute. You can walk there, grab a few essentials and get back in less than 10 minutes (shopping bags provided in the kitchen)! Book this rental... you won't regret it!

Excellent property in a fantastic place with sea and lake views. Extremely clean and well equipped with full range of appliances all with complete instructions. Good WiFi connection, satellite TV and air conditioning in some rooms.Amazing views. Comfortable rooms and clean bathrooms. Welcome gifts (bottles of wine, juice, cookies and crisps as also bottle of milk) were appreciated. Easy walk to shops, transport and cafes along with a supermarket close by.A glitch with hot water sorted out very quickly and Lucy responded rapidly to any questions.Better than 5* service. Great location overlooking the Marine Lake and beyond to Wales. There was a good breeze when we visited making it ideal for the windsurfers to be out on the lake, we enjoyed watching them whizz by! The property is just a few minutes walk away from shops/coffee shops and some great restaurants. The train station is an 8 minute walk away with trains directly to Liverpool taking about 30 minutes, also connections to Chester and beyond.
