An attractive property in a good location with good views. However, access is difficult as the road/drive leading to the villa is very steep, with loose and uneven sections. Exit from the parking area on to the road/drive is particularly difficult and required several attempts on each occasion.The pool area is good & well maintained but the hammock frame is rotted and unusable; the table tennis net held on with clothes pegs; and bats were unusable. The gas BBQ was unstable and had to be cleaned before use. The base was covered in grease and grass cuttings.The furnishings within the villa are in need of an upgrade. The sofas are uncomfortable and the worn upholstery covered with loose covers which are untidy and faded; curtains are flimsy; towels worn & unpleasant; beds were uncomfortable; and the master bedroom had no hanging space other than an unstable, free standing, hanging rail.The fridge had missing shelves; the salad bin was cracked with missing sections; and not as clean as you would hope. The microwave had a stop button missing. There were insufficient cups even for just 4 adults and the bottle opener broken, so we had to buy 4 mugs and a bottle opener!The management company, North Italy Villas, were efficient but their local contact person, though pleasant and friendly, spoke little english making communications difficult and no written instructions were provided for equipment, etc.
