We needed a quiet and comfortable place to stay as were coming to Lewes for my dad’s funeral. The house was perfect - beautifully arranged and attentively styled, and hugely homely - like a comforting hug. We wanted boiled eggs for breakfast and there were no egg cups so we bought three in town and left as a gift.
A small microwave would be a useful addition to the kitchen.

Thank you for taking the time to review 123 High Street. We are sorry to hear about your loss and are pleased that the property was able to offer a comfortable and homely feel for such a sad time. Thank you for leaving the egg cups as a gift, that is very kind and much appreciated. We hope to welcome you again in the future.
Lovely house. Clean, bright, fresh and quite special. But felt that it lacked the personal touch. No welcome pack except for a large carton of UHT milk (yuk)No washing tablets for the washing machine so I bought a pack for the house. No hairdryer. Very annoying.Just felt impersonal
