Joyce met us as we arrived and warmly welcomed us. We were staying near Canton to see a concert at the Civic Center. The Lodge was convenient to the venue and shopping in North Canton and Alliance. The Lodge was very cozy with plenty of room to relax. It is on a nice secluded property and very quiet. We enjoyed seeing the cows grazing in the morning. Would definitely stay again!

Country Estate Getaway

The host and hostess were amazing! They made sure we were comfortable. Everything was beautiful and we loved our stay. I would definitely stay at the Lodge again. Great spacious room for events.

Girls' Weekend

Everything was beautiful - Lodge and surroundings. Owners were fantastic with communication. The home was all decorated for Fall and had such a homey atmosphere.. Would highly recommend.

Unique setting

The Lodge is a highly unique property on several acres of beautifully maintained land that gives guests a genuine taste of country life. A great choice for families with children because of the wides open spaces.

The Lodge at Brookside Farms

Wonderful hosts John and Joyce who made our stay truly exceptional. Beautiful fully stocked lodge, 5 star cleaning and manicured outdoors in a quiet 35 acre setting. Close to all attractions with NFL Hall of Fame and other museums. A perfect vacation spot. We highly recommend for anyone traveling in the area. A true gem. Thank you.

The Lodge

I enjoyed our stay at the Lodge for multiple reasons. 1st of all Joyce and John were very gracious about welcoming my Family. The location was very convenient to numerous points of interest in the greater area. (Canton, Louisville, and Alliance) The setting of the Lodge is spectacular. Safe, secure and quiet. The Lodge had many features that made the value of staying there even more impressive. WiFi, coffee, Roku, to mention a few. Ample space for everyone to enjoy, A layout that would facilitate a tremendous party, or planned events. I would not hesitate to recommend the Lodge for anyone who is in the area that needs an accommodation. Thank you Joyce and John. I will look forward to my next visit.

Quiet, quaint, enjoyable

Just as advertised!!! Communication was fantastic with the owners. They are great people!!! We planned the trip to stay two nights, and golf two days. It was exactly what we were looking for! Very clean, very accommodating. The location was perfect for our trip, within 15 minutes of each golf course. Also just a mile from the town of Louisville, which we had two enjoyable meals and evenings there. We will most definitely be staying here next trip to Louisville/Canton.

Best hosts ever!

We have stayed at John & Joyce’s Lodge several times in the last few years. We keep coming back not only because the lodge is well-appointed with amenities (games, snacks, cuteness, an outdoor fire pit, one trillion towels!), but also because John & Joyce are the kindest most considerate hosts imaginable. They are so accommodating, and always willing to lend a hand and go above and beyond to make sure our stay is comfy and enjoyable. Highly recommended for small families, as well as business gatherings or celebrations. Five stars!

Adorable and comfy

We loved our stay, and the owners John and Joyce are delightful, helpful and kind. The little touches around the house made our stay extra enjoyable: the tray of snacks provided in the kitchen, tiny notes on the light switches explaining their function, calls and texts from John making sure everything was ok, the fire pit in the yard with wood provided, the golf cart (!), and the tons of extra plates and cups in the cupboards left by previous guests (we used some, and we left some). Thanks again John and Joyce for a lovely stay! See you next year!

An Amazing Property

Although we were in Louisville for a sad occasion, a funeral of a beloved family member, we were made to feel so welcome in this beautiful home in a stunning location and that is because of the owners, John and Joyce. They made us feel like part of their family and the home was such a comfort to come back to each evening.

We Love The Lodge

Excellent hospitality

This property is an absolute gem, and the owners John and Joyce are the friendliest and most gracious hosts ever! We especially enjoyed the literally dozens of tiny personal touches: everything from the extra towels to the well-stocked kitchen to the little signs on all the electric switches — and especially the scenic fire pit complete with lighter, starter logs, bug repellent candle, and plenty of firewood. Highly recommended!

From the greatness of the owners to the greatness of the lodge, Close enough for all your needs and far enough away for peace and quiet. Well furnished for all your comfort needs and down-to-earth owners, that if you want to, you can call them friends. Guaranteed that they will be friend you 1st. Perfection

Everything was absolutely perfect during our stay! With our wedding at Brookside it made for an easy transition! We are so grateful we were able to stay here! Thank you again for everything!
