About this property

New 1 bedroom lake cabin with FREE resort amenities

1 full bed in open floor plan. Has full kitchen with all necessary utensils and kitchen ware. This cabin does have a full bathroom along with a full living room and kitchen table.

This cabin is on the second floor above a storage garage and is new in 2014.In the winter i do get my tractor out of the garage twice a day.

Located on Blackduck Lake at White Birch Resort. This is 5 minutes form the town of Blackduck and 25 minutes form the town of Bemidji.

Rates are based on 1-2 people then it is $50 per person per night above the 2. All children are from 0 months to 17 years.

We do not allow visitors who are not a paying guest.

No pets
SURVEILLANCE SECURITY CAMERAS: Installed and are in use on resort grounds. This is for security purposes and does not record conversations.

You get all the free resort amenities in the rate for you to enjoy, They are kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, paddle boats,water trampolines, swimming float, volleyball , campfire wood gas grill, beach and more.

It does have heat and A/C in the unit. There is a park style grill, picnic table and fire pit just for this unit.

Located on the 2nd row of a White Birch Resort on Blackduck Lake but does have lake view.

I had an amazing time at White Birch Resort. The property was very clean and well-maintained. It is exactly as pictured. Great location with wonderful lake views and water activities. A very nice, relaxing getaway.

Wonderful vacation!

The property was very nice and had lots to keep us busy. The cabin itself was nice, had most of what we needed. One thing that could be improved is the sound barrier between the two units. We played some music around 2 pm and the neighbors were knocking on the door to tell us to turn it down :( otherwise the views were great and we really enjoyed our stay!

Romantic getaway

The loft cabin was perfect for just us two. They supplied all of the kitchen necessities which were as great. We fished off the dock, took the paddle boat out, and went swimming in the pool. Very relaxing place. Only suggestion for guests would be to bring your own coffee mugs because theirs are small. And a suggestion for hosts—maybe a pool heater. It was pretty cold for August.

Cute little studio—but over working garage

The little studio apartment’s interior is beautifully done. It has all of the dining items needed, but beware of the cookware. It scorches and burns quickly (we went to Target and bought a frying pan to use). The studio is located above a workshop with staff traffic all day. At some points saws were used. The entry to the studio is on the side of the building. There is no stoop or patio... no aesthetically pleasing outdoor space. The shop use creates noise outside the windows and underneath the lodging off and on all day. The resort requires quite at 10 PM. These quiet hours were implemented. This is nice. The studio is a part of white birch resort. This is located on Blackduck Lake, located about a half hour from Bemidiji. This location was not clear based on the VRBO address listed in the description. We received a text which notified us of this address on our day of arrival; the owner had emailed that morning. This was unexpected. As we were in transit, we had to turn around and backtrack. The resort is also located on a highway. For running and walking, this means out and back routes on the highway. There are not dirt roads near the resort to avoid this. We have stayed at many MN resorts over our 25 years of marriage. The communication and customer service here is lacking. It is nice to have more communication before and during the stay. If you are in a group in one of the larger cabins and need more space, this studio is good for sleeping. It is beautiful inside. But due to the active use by staff below, it is not a retreat.

Enjoyed the 1 bedroom we stayed in. The cabin had lake views as well which was a pleasant surprise. All of the free resort water toys included in the rate was also a plus for us. I will be back to White Birch Resort and this cabin.

The place was nice, the owners/property managers communicated well, and they had a Dyson Vacuum to clean with. My main negative was that there were cold-water issues -- specifically a lot of things seemed not to have cold water (the shower, the bathroom faucet, even the toilet seemed to only flush with hot water). This made for a painful and difficult shower until the hot water started to run out.

Nice place for a getaway.

Clean and cozy - with access to all resort amenities, we enjoyed this space for a weekend getaway. A big drawback was the mess of ladders, random equipment, and even a plywood sheet partially covered with dirt that were left just outside the entrance, giving a really terrible first impression. It looked as if this was a permanent, or at least long term location along the side of the garage, right outside the entrance door to our cabin. However everything inside was clean & orderly. Simple fix: clear all of that junk and put it away! The bed is a double, in a space that could easily accommodate a queen or even a king. But it was comfortable and we appreciated that the a.c. had been running before we arrived so the room was cool. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed using a couple of resort kayaks to paddle around the lake. And the pool, which was impeccably clean, was a great way to cool at the end of the day.

Beautiful Place

We really enjoyed our stay at White Birch Resort. We rented lot # 9 being the studio. It was so nice to have it all setup like a home with all the amenities. The property also included access to a heated pool, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, and so on for guests. It is in a quiet area but not far from Blackduck when needing to pick a few items up. Also not far from Bemiji if attending an event.

Nice winter getaway.

We enjoyed our stay here; it was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. Cabin 9 is above a garage and it’s nice being on second floor. There’s not much sound insulation between the two side-by-side units above the garage but it wasn’t too much of a problem. The large cabins on the lakeshore look like great accommodations for larger groups. We’d recommended White Birch Resort.

Breathtakingly gorgeous!!!!!!!!!

This was the 1st time my husband, daughter and I stayed at the resort. We stayed in the #9 studio cabin, and it was perfect for a couple with a young child. The owners are extremely friendly, only a text message and 2 minutes away if you need anything. The resort is so beautiful and there's so many things to do. Upwards of 20-30 different activities to do, and you can also rent a pontoon or boat for the day. My husband and I were worried with the social distancing that it would be crowded or even be louder than we would like, but it wasnt!!!!! It was almost completely booked and no matter where you went it was so peaceful. The outdoor pool was fun for all the kids and the only place you could hear anyone else. So serene and worth the money to make family memories to last a lifetime. When I originally booked, the reviews weren't the best, and I was worried that maybe it wasn't what I thought it was going to be, but I can definitely tell you the reviews aren't EVEN CLOSE to being accurate at all!!!!! I don't know what their deal was, but we plan on making this our new family get-a-way for many years to come!!!! Monte and Sandy are so friendly and amazing and im so glad we took a chance and came to your resort. It's gorgeous!!! And we will definetly see you in the future 😊

Overall, very clean and neat. Stairs were not great for us, we are getting too old for stairs.

There was one disappointing factor. For the quality of the studio, I think a new flat screen TV is a must. The tiny OLD television was difficult to see and hear. I guess this is minor but if the weather is bad and TV becomes a method of entertainment, such a small set is not good. The bed was just a double and we had kept hitting and waking each other. The bed was just too small.
