The breathtaking view over the Prerauer Stich and the Havel River guarantees pure relaxation after just a few moments. Not far from your houseboat is the small Havel town of Zehdenick, once an important shipping town. In the 19th century, enormous clay deposits were discovered here, and around 60 clay pits were created around the town. Over time, these pits filled with water, which then became bathing lakes, creating a unique clay pit landscape that today provides a home for many animals and plants. Along the 215-kilometer-long Clay Road, you will find numerous sights as well as many swamps and moors.
