The surrounding nature is stunning, and you are not far from Lake Fryken, where you can swim or go fishing. Please note that a fishing permit is required if you wish to fish on the lake. Not far from there, you will find Rottneros Park, an impressive sculpture and flower park inspired by Gösta Berling’s Saga. The cottage is within walking distance of the Bäckebron railway station, making it easy to travel to the cottage for those traveling by train.
