You can also plan a fun family day at Jolly Roger Amusement Park and Splash Mountain Waterpark, only four miles south.

Things to Know The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed. The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026. Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds. Until further notice, due to local restrictions and regulations, shared amenities may not be available at the time of your stay.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 15.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Beautiful view from this condo. also very quiet. As others stated the shower really needs a barrier. I understand the want for a sleek design but it really makes no sense. Otherwise, we had a great stay. Premises are very clean, we always saw the staff working hard.

Beautiful view of the ocean and sunrise, everything you need for your stay, food, drinks, ice cream shop, deli, store, arcade…
Really liked the property however we had issues with our TVs not working.
Would stay there again if TVs worked.

Our stay
The place had a beautiful view with great features. We truly enjoyed our stay. Some things we did not like for the money we paid was the shower. The drain would not work and we had to turn the shower off in the middle of washing out hair just to make sure the water wouldn’t overflow into the room. Besides the shower I would say our stay was very enjoyable

Great view, nice for short stays
This condo is handy to the strip and has a great view with easy access to the beach. The building has some nice shops and a bar/food service, but everything was closed. The pool was clean and warm. The actual unit was affordable and clean, but I would not recommend it for more than a couple days stay. The tvs are both quite blurry, the couch is not comfortable, and the kitchen contains bare bones for cooking. It was an enjoyable stay overall.

Good couples getaway!
The view of the Atlantic Ocean is 2nd to none, the unit was modernized and up to date, the furniture was not very comfortable, the bed was nice, the shower was very slippery once it got wet and had no shower door. The tv smart apps and streaming didn't work and the remote was not clean, it was sticky. For the price it was worth it and very easy check in! 3/5 ain't bad!

I didn’t love this condo. There needs to be a door on the shower. I couldn’t get ready when my husband showered because I would get wet. The couch was the most uncomfortable thing I ever sat on ever. They need a tv in the bedroom. There were many leaks in the ceiling and walls which caused mold to grow.

We had a terrible experience — the unit had not been clean. From what appeared to be puke splatter on the bathroom walls and in the toilet, to a dirty Q-tip on the floor. Every surface was dirty floors had not been vacuumed or mopped. Dust, debris, hairs, just gross all around. Dust and dead gnats on walls and ceiling. Pillows were stained and gross.Our entire stay was ruined by the feeling of being in a gross place. Most of the time we would’ve had spent enjoying ourselves, we spent messaging with the host, trying to find options for alternative places to stay or venting our frustrations about the situation.Unit was also in need of repairs. Pictures look cute luxury modern but in person not great. A piece of trim from around the door fell and hit me in the head while I was brushing my teeth. Walls covered in scuffs dents and stains. Futon/couch, legs, broken and wobbly. Paint peeling.Amenities leave much to be desired. One extra blanket and pillow bunched up in the closet not sure if was even clean and iron was available but no ironing board. Hot water lasted 10 minutes so that was fun.We spent several hours messaging back-and-forth with the host, and spent much of Saturday outside of the unit so that they could come and clean, but they were unable to get over before we need to come back to prepare for the event which we were in town for. No other resolution was offered by host.
The Condo was clean and the pictures are accurate. It was ideal for 2 people I wouldn’t recommend 3 or 4. The view is great however, disappointed the door issue hasn’t been fixed yet. I could not open the door myself and my husband had to use all of his strength just to open it. There isn’t an oven, so don’t plan on baking. If you don’t like the temp resetting at 75 degrees I would suggest getting with them to have this fixed for you.
Also a guide to know how to use the TV would be helpful. There are 4 remotes! We eventually figured it out.
Overall we enjoyed our stay!

The actual unit was as advertised...very nice condo in a very dated high-rise on the beach. You are on your own here. We were unable to operate either of the TVs, called the Vacasa #, were told someone would get back to us and no one every did. Disappointing support. Glad we didn't have a SERIOUS problem b/c I think we would have been all alone here. Other than that, as I said, a very nice unit in a kind of crappy old building.

Loved it for a short time...
We picked this unit based on design and we love it. Nest controlled temperature new appliances and the view is stunning when you enter the condo. Other pros- bed was comfortable and we loved the building the tiki bar was great and pools were kept clean. The cons- the cable in the main area did not work at all. We tried to troubleshoot after a half hour we couldnt get anything working.. it might need a new box. The wifi is on public ( unit does not have seperate wifi) which was very slow and netflix on the tv only worked for maybe half of the time. The blankets in the bedroom smelled really awful and had not been washed in awhile. I drew the line at the shower - if you shower for more than two minutes the shower floods and because of the design into the bedroom the water ended up all over the bedroom floor. I opened the drain in the wall and got so grossed out I ended up taking super fast showers for the rest of the trip

First let me say the view is like no other and you will see an amazing sunrise. The place is very clean and very modern. All very important. However, no Wifi in todays world is simply not good. We really wanted a nice relaxing getaway which always includes watching movies in the evening. The TV experience was pathetic. Not only could we not get any channels but no streaming due to no Wifi. We could not use our devices and had to leave the unit to send photos to family. The other thing that shocked us was NO OVEN! We love to cook and could not cook. Please do not advertise FULL KITCHEN when there is no oven. And please please change the sofa. While it might look sleek, it is the most uncomfortable sofa we have ever sat on. It literally hurt our backs. And we tried moving to the plastic chairs but they are just as bad. And lastly the shower needs a door to cut down on the overspray. My wife was trying to put on her makeup while I was showering and she was getting wet. Thanks so much. I think this could be an exceptional place with a few improvements. Thanks!

Hi, we will be checking out today. This has just been one issue after another and we haven’t gotten to enjoy the space at all. The balcony was a huge selling point so not being able to get out to the balcony was a huge issue. Even though someone called to come fix it, I shouldn’t have to be handling calls for a maintenance issue when I am on vacation. Additionally, the bedroom TV did work. Again, the listing promised A tv in the bedroom so that was very disappointing. Lastly, the AC didn’t hold and my husband had to get up a few times in the middle of the night to turn it back down because we were absolutely sweating. This was a lot of money for us to take this small vacation and it seems like we had one maintenance issue after another. Regardless of if someone can come fix it, this is our time and space for three days, we don’t need maintenance men in here or fielding calls to work out a time. We paid for the space, we expect it to be right. Cherry on top was that the listing stated the parking spot was in the garage, when it’s very much so not. It’s just time wasted and we are extremely disappointed. We can’t take another night in the heat so we are cutting the trip short. We gave it one night thinking the air needed to adjust but after two nights of that and everything else we can’t take it any more. Additionally there are signs everywhere about trash but no directions on where it goes. Yet another wild goose chase. The trash is all picked up in bags by the door. Some type of compensation is 1000% warranted. This was our trip for the summer and what we could afford and to have this experience is beyond disappointing.

Keep Looking
Let me begin with positives. The person in the Vacasa office was very nice. The ocean view was amazing.
Moving on to the negatives. 1) Condo was not clean. White film and dust all over the place. Hair and dust on the baseboards. The remotes looked like they have never been wiped off. I always clean first thing anyway, but this required additional cleaning for my level of comfort. Luckily, I was told I’d be getting the cleaning fee refunded. 2) The tv in the living room does not work. The xfinity cable was scrambled. We told vacasa right after arrival, however, no one came to fix it. The tv also appears to be a smart tv, but there are no apps like Netflix or Hulu that can be downloaded. 3) The condo itself needs some serious TLC. Marks all over the walls, peeling paint, couch/futon in living room has seen better days. 4) Pillows and blanket on the bed are a joke. Definitely bring your own pillows and additional blankets which I did thanks to a previous review I read. 5) Rugs in the bathroom were dirty. 6) No mattress pad on the mattress and there were stains on the mattress.
Other things to note: bring hand soap, the living area is not a place to relax due to the type of furniture that is there

Wanted to like it. The Golden Sands building is gross. The condo was not clean. We walked in and the walls are filthy, floor was sticky, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, fridge was not clean, microwave had pieces of old food stuck to plate, ect... Also, all the cups and wine glasses are super cloudy and old plastic cups. They looked awful. Extremely disappointed. I shouldn't have to rent a condo and then have to clean it first.

This place has everything that you need!
The view is unbeatable. The condo is close to the bridge and walking distance to so much. The condo itself is clean and very trendy and modern.
Here are a few tips:
1. Bring an extra blanket or 2 for the bed
2. If there are specific cooking/prep stuff you require, pack it. The staples are provided.
3. The thermostat is a Nest, so best to familiarize yourself with how to adjust Temps before changes.
4. There is a reserved parking spot, it's outside and in front of the building not inside the garage

My review
To begin, the view is the best thing about this property. It is nothing short of magnificent!
Prior to booking the property I read many reviews about the property. Many of the reviews mentioned the patio door. I erroneously thought the issues with the patio door would get resolved by the time I arrived. The issues were not resolved. The door is heavy. The screen is ripped, the screen door eventually fell off. There are few amenities with this rental. What amenities there are do not work. The washer/dryer combo did not work. This is important as there is nowhere to hang wet clothing! The TV/WiFi is complicated to figure out at best. The TV picture is nothing short of horrible. The table on the patio is rusted and dirty. The knives on the kitchen counter are equally rusted. The unit, was basically clean but it definitely needs some repair. The unit is small. Probably too small for 2 people. Again, there is nowhere to put anything! Also, the building itself needs some upkeep!
The best thing about the unit is the view. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets!! A short walk to the beach!

Weekend getaway
The view is awesome! The bed is huge and comfy!
However, the pillows are terrible, the thermostat can’t go below 70°… WTF!? And it’s on a schedule so changing it to 70° it just changes back in an hour. I personally sleep with the thermostat at 66°, and the condo gets extremely hot! In addition, when it’s rainy don’t even bother trying to do a Netflix and chill the TVs don’t allow you to use it, and if your smart and you bring a firestick or a Nintendo switch you can’t use them because the tv in the living room is bolted to the wall so accessing the HDMI hook-up is impossible. Also, the tv in the bedroom have chromecast, but you can’t use that either because there is NO tv remote to change the input. I am thankful that it was only rainy the first day.
I would not recommend bringing a child to this place, and if you plan on watching tv or playing video games in case it rains I would bring your own tv, an air conditioner & fan, extra pillows & pillow cases, and definitely blankets!
