A warm welcome to this charming cottage in Färgelanda! The cabin is located in beautiful nature and a wonderfully peaceful environment in southwestern Dalsland. It is well planned with an open kitchen and a dining table with chairs for two. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living room, equipped with a TV and a comfortable sofa that can easily be turned into a 160 cm wide bed. There is also an extra mattress for increased comfort. In the morning you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the small terrace and take in the wonderful nature, chirping birds and the peace. The cabin's power comes from solar cell energy systems that allow it to generate and use self-produced electricity from the sun. On the outside of the cottage there is a separate building with a sink, shower and washing machine. There is also a separate toilet. The cottage is secluded but shares the plot with the home owner. In the surrounding forests, there are plenty of opportunities to pick berries and mushrooms. For those who love hiking, there are hiking trails nearby. A recommended choice is Karl XII's väg, the most famous hiking trail on Kroppefjäll. The trail stretches over Kroppefjäll on historic land where Charles XII and his Carolines are said to have traveled on their way to Fredriksten's fortress in Norway. Only a 35-minute drive away, you can visit Evenstorps Gård, where you can buy organic KRAV-labelled beef, own raspberries and rhubarb. For the kids, there are several different animals to look at and pet, including mini goats, alpacas, Shetland ponies, mini pigs, rabbits and chickens. Within walking distance of Eventorp's farm you will find a unique rock carving, and in the Kroppefjäll nature reserve there are fine hiking and cycling trails as well as lakes where you can swim, fish and paddle. From the cabin, you can also make day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil, Smögenbryggan and fishing and boating communities in the northern part of Bohuslän. For those who want to spend a day on the golf course, there are several fine courses within a radius of a few miles to choose from, for example Dagsholms GK in Färgelanda or Torreby Golfbana, Bohuslän's oldest golf course, which is located in a castle environment with an English-inspired castle park.
