The house was amazing. Really high end and modern. Communication with the host was easy, and the house is in a very nice neighborhood near the beach. Restaurants and stores were easy to walk to, especially groceries, so you do not need a car. Downtown is a 30-45 minute walk, or a quick 15 min ride on the tram 100 meters from the house. There is also a bike rental shop nearby, and that really opens up distances. The house is unique in that it is a corner house in a street of row houses, and there are LOTS of steps to get to various rooms. You need good knees for the place. There is an amazing roof deck with great views. We enjoyed the deck for a few days when the weather was decent. But mid-May is rainy and cool in The Hague, like the San Francisco winter, so we couldn't use the deck too much. I would go back in a heartbeat.
