About this property
The Annexe - Charming 1 bedroom near Stonehenge
Discover The Annexe, a beautifully renovated retreat nestled within the historic Henge Estate in the picturesque Wiltshire countryside. Just a 6-minute drive from the world-famous Stonehenge and 23 minutes from Salisbury, this charming one-bedroom apartment offers a perfect base for exploring the rich heritage and stunning landscapes of Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset, and Somerset. Conveniently located, it’s almost equidistant to Bath and Marlborough (north), Winchester (east), Southampton (south), and Shaftesbury (west), with many local attractions accessible within a 5 to 45-minute drive.
Impeccably finished to a high standard, The Annexe provides a cosy, comfortable space equipped with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, a welcoming sitting room, and a fully equipped kitchen. Whether you're relaxing indoors or venturing out to discover the region’s treasures, you'll find everything you need for a memorable stay. Please note, the outdoor space is currently in development, with landscaping and landscaping improvements underway, but guests can enjoy a sunny outdoor table with two chairs opposite the front door.
The Annexe is attached to the rear of a historic Manor House but boasts a private entrance and driveway, with ample parking directly outside. While the outdoor area is still a work in progress, it offers a peaceful setting for enjoying the fresh countryside air.
Although we don’t live on-site, we’re always reachable by phone and have estate staff on hand to assist during your stay. Stonehenge is just a short drive away, and Salisbury, with its charming shops and cathedral, is easily accessible. There are also many scenic walks, cosy pubs, and local attractions within a short drive.
The space comfortably accommodates a couple, with the option to add one child (aged 0-8) using a cot, toddler bed, or fold-out guest bed for an additional £20 per night. Please note, due to space limitations, only one child can be accommodated in the sitting room.
For transportation, a car is recommended for exploring the area, though there is a bus service from the end of the lane to Salisbury and surrounding towns.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Annexe — your perfect countryside retreat with easy access to some of England’s most iconic sights and charming villages. A comprehensive guidebook with our favourite local recommendations will be provided to help you make the most of your stay.
