Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Caerwys was granted a Royal Charter in 1290 and is one of the smallest towns in Great Britain. Standing in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the northern edge of the Clwydian Hill Range and the miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales Coast, this vibrant town boasts two pubs, a couple of shops, Post Office, butcher, pharmacy, bowling green and tennis courts. Nearby are the historic market towns of Mold, Denbigh and Ruthin with excellent shops and craft centres, including the Afonwen Craft Centre on the outskirts of the town. Just a short drive away is Prestatyn, whose Blue Flag beach provides miles of golden sand, ideal for bathing, watersports and fishing. This is an ideal location for exploring the attractions of North Wales, with access to superb walking, mountain biking and birdwatching amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Clwydian Hill Range and on the Offa's Dyke Pathway.
