3 bedrooms, sleeps 6. Bluebell Cottage is a beautiful traditional cottage which has been renovated to a modern and luxurious standard, with guest comfort and relaxation in mind. Situated in a peaceful setting, it is just 1.5km to Roundstone village and the beaches at Gurteen and Dogs Bay. Perfect for couples, friends, and families to share. Here you can enjoy views of Errisbeg Hill, take a leisurely stroll to the beautiful Atlantic coastline, and sheltered beach at Ervallagh, explore Roundstone village, or continue to Roundstone's famous white sandy beaches at Gurteen and Dogs Bay. Roundstone village provides ample choice of places to eat and drink, and its shops will supply you with everything you need for your self-catering holiday.
Enjoy leisurely walks and cycles at the nearby Connemara Greenway, which is accessible at Ballynahinch (11km), or walk the nearby Inishnee Island loop walk. There are numerous trails and driving routes to explore in the region, including the well-known Roundstone Bog Road and along the Wild Atlantic Way. Sea fishing and boat tours are available locally, golf is available at the nearby Connemara Golf Links course at Ballyconneely (18km), and Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park are just a short drive away. Local activities include kayaking and paddleboarding, sea angling, lake, and river fishing, walking trails, hill walking, pony trekking, golf, boat trips and much more. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - Sleeps 6. The accommodation is over one level and includes a kitchen, a combined dining and living room, three bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, and a main bathroom. Wi-fi is available and the property offers all modern conveniences.
The welcoming entrance porch leads into a light and spacious combined living space, including a dining area with table and ample dining seating for six people, and a sitting area with a large couch, armchairs, and a large flat screen TV. This space is flooded with natural light and offers views on to the front of the property. The adjacent country cottage style kitchen is well equipped with all necessary equipment including a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and a combined electric cooker with hob and grill. A utility area, including washing machine and tumble dryer are also located just to the side of the kitchen, close to the back door of the cottage.
The sleeping accommodation consists of three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a master bedroom en-suite, with king size bed, ample storage, and the en-suite includes large shower, WC and sink. This bedroom is spacious and offers woodland and countryside views. Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom, with ample storage and views to the front of the property. Bedroom 3 is a small double bedroom, offering ample storage and views of Errisbeg Hill to the rear. The main bathroom is located between the kitchen and utility areas and includes shower, WC and sink.
The property is centrally heated with underfloor heating, from an efficient air to water heat pump system, and boasts the benefit of roof solar panels for heating hot water.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Cot and highchair available. Smoking is not allowed indoors. Utilities are included in the rental price. Wi-Fi is included. Parking is available for two cars. Short breaks are available.
