2609 Tenderfoot Lodge is without a doubt one of the best properties at the Mountain House base area in Keystone! With impeccable updates, charming features and an incredible location, this condo will be impossible to top for your next family adventure! When entering the condo you're greeted by a small, but functional mud room with a bench seat. The kitchen is fully updated and well stocked. The lovely granite countertops wrap around the kitchen for great convenience while preparing meals. The dual oven and crock pot are sure to please the family chef. Just off the kitchen is a nice dining room table that seats 6 people comfortably with an additional 4 seats at the breakfast bar. The living room features a gas fireplace, flat screen TV, and two comfy leather couches. You can also access the ground floor patio from the living area; which has a few nice chairs you can relax in. The primary bedroom features a king sized bed, flat screen TV and an en suite bathroom featuring a steam shower. The first guest bedroom features a queen bed, large closet, and flat screen TV. The second guest bedroom features a twin, double and twin trundle bunk bed. The guest bedrooms share the hallway bathroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate additional guests, and private stacked laundry for your convenience. Laid out on the ground floor, this condo has nearly 1,200 square feet of living space! With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, you'll be able to accommodate the whole group easily! Tenderfoot Lodge is very conveniently located and has underground parking equipped with 4 EV charging stations. You can walk to the slopes in under 5 minutes and when you return there are two outdoor hot tubs for your enjoyment!

Perfect Place in Keystone

My family and I had an excellent stay. The condo is beautiful, clean, and fully stocked. Our kids loved swimming in the two hot tubs, walking on the trails right behind the house, and mountain biking and hiking in the mountains. It was very quiet in the summer, and the area is filled with great outdoor activities.

Lovely location

This 3-bedroom condo on the ground floor was excellent for accessibility and roominess. We enjoyed most sitting on the back patio and looking up the mountains and the ski slopes of Keystone. We also enjoyed the proximity of the two hot tubs, just steps from our back door. Two of us took the special bike ride from Vail Pass back to Keystone that Mountain Sports across the street provides. What a spectacular experience!

It states sleeps 10…..there’s not enough beds for 10. If the floor is the 10th spot you should be notified to bring an air mattress. That was our only issue, but with 10 people one got stuck on the hard floor.

Walk to slopes!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean. It was great to walk to the slopes. There were some games and kids toys/books. The fireplace kept the place warm and cozy. There are two things that we had a problem with. First, the washing machine. It was broken when we arrived and they knew about it already. They did not let us know and weren’t helpful at all with an alternative. We were able to get some money back but I thought it was in poor taste to not be proactive and more helpful. We were there 5 nights and were fully expecting to use the washer so it was a huge bummer for it to not be available. The second thing was the lack of towels. We were provided one dish towel and one kitchen hand towel for the stay. Not enough, especially as we didn’t have a washing machine. So, the condo itself and the location were good but some improvements could be made with the service.

Mountain getaway

We had a great stay at Tenderfoot Lodge. The only reason I gave it 2 stars for accuracy of listing is because when we arrived at the original condo the outside area was not accessible due to the deck being rebuilt. SkyRun was very helpful and found us another place, luckily.

Stay at Tenderfoot Lodge

I took two friends from PA and my sister to visit Vail, Breckenridge and Keystone. We hiked the trail behind Tenderfoot Lodge along where the Blue River runs into River Run. Also rode the Breckenridge gondola. The 3 bedroom we stayed in was wonderful. I liked that they had all the condiments that we needed available to us. Would definitely stay again.

Spacious main floor condo within walk to lifts

We enjoyed our two night stay in this condo. There are three bedrooms which is nice to give everyone plenty of private space. The master bedroom is a bit small but has a nice master 3/4 bath. The gas fireplace was great to use and there are very nice views of the slopes. The underground parking is great. Giving guests 2 parking spaces is a really nice perk. The kitchen was a bit small for two or more people to cook but it was stocked full of all the utensils, dishes, pots and pans that you would need. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic, Long Weekend Getaway - Best of Both World

Loved our stay at the Tenderfoot (#2609)! It was the best of both worlds -- super close to everything but also far enough removed that it's quiet and relaxing. We walked both to the ski lifts and to River Run. The steam shower and hot tub were major plusses after a long day. Can't wait to visit again!

Fantastic

This property was perfect for our family. We had a total of 10 people and the condo was perfect. There were plenty of blankets and the kitchen was supplied with all the necessary items. The property was clean, however we had to retrieve more trash bags and towels. We were close to all Keystone activities. We liked River Run, but absolutely loved the Mountain House lodge/ski area. Mountain House was smaller. We made so many memories and you must participate in the sleigh ride dinner, tubing, ice skating, and skiing.
