Villa Elpida (Kefalas) Detached house with seaview & private pool

Our cozy house is ideal for a secluded, quiet holiday. It is fully furnished and has all the household appliances necessary for a comfortable stay.
The house has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the second with two single beds. On the second floor there is an equipped kitchen - living room with a fireplace and everything necessary for cooking, including coffee, tea, sugar, salt, spices, olive oil.
The balcony offers stunning views of the sea and Rethymno.
Our Villa is equipped with high-speed Starlink satellite internet — perfect for remote work, video calls, and streaming, all in a peaceful setting.
Enjoy our private pool — perfect for relaxing, cooling off, or spending quality time with friends and family.
KEFALAS is a traditional Cretan village in the Apokoronas area at an altitude of approximately 300 m above sea level, founded in the 11th century by Byzantine settlers. If you are a lover of walking or cycling, or are just tired of noisy beaches and want to relax in silence, then this is the place for you.
Kefalas is considered one of the most beautiful villages in the region. From here there are views of the bay of Georgioupolis, White Mountains and Rethymno. There is an excellent microclimate here and even in very hot summers you can feel pleasantly cool. The village center can be easily reached on foot. There are 2 taverns, 2 minimarkets and several coffee shops, a sports and children's playground.
10 minutes away by car is the beautiful rocky bay of Omprogialos, there is no beach there, but you can taste fresh fish in a small tavern. Almyrida beach from Kefalas is 15 minutes away by car, to Kalyves 20 minutes, also 20 minutes to Georgioupolis and Kalyvaki beach
The municipal center of Vamos with taverns, coffee shops, banks, shops, pharmacy and medical center is 4 km, Chania Airport 41 km, the center of Chania 32 km, Rethymno 35 km, Lake Kournas 16 km.
Although the area is well connected, we highly recommend renting a car.

Das Haus ist wunderschön, mit allem ausgestattet, was Ferien angenehm macht und sehr sauber. Kefalas war für uns ein idealer Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden der Insel rund um Chania und Rethymno. Es liegt ruhig und von den Terrassen hat man einen traumhaften Meerblick. Im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Laden und zwei Tavernen. Nadya und Alexander sind sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber, die bis ins Detail unseren Aufenthalt vorbereitet haben. Den Pool konnten wir leider nicht nutzen, es war ein bisschen kühl und windig während unseres Urlaubs. Aber er ist sehr gepflegt und einladend.
