About this property
Ocean Blue - Port Isaac
Surfing, afternoons on the beach, and endless day trips to North Cornwall’s towns and villages are all on the cards when staying in this rural, coastal cottage. It’s just 3 miles from the charming fishing village of Port Isaac, accessible via a tree-lined country road that leads all the way down to the beach. In Port Isaac, admire the rickety fishermen’s cottages, the vibrant harbour, and the golden arc of sandy beach. Along the coast path, those eager to get into surfing should head to Polzeath (3.5 miles), a fantastic spot for beginners to ride the waves. On the edge of New Polzeath, explore the rugged headlands of Pentireglaze (3.5 miles), offering excellent hiking with superb, far-reaching views from beauty spots like Pentire Point (4.5 miles). A little further afield, discover the foodie haven of Padstow (14.5 miles), home to a selection of exceptional restaurants.
A neutral colour scheme and oak furnishings enhance the homely, calming atmosphere of this appealing farmhouse. Spread across two floors, it’s spacious enough to accommodate your whole family comfortably. Step inside and be greeted by the lounge/diner – a warm and welcoming space flooded with natural light from large windows. An abundance of comfortable seating and a Smart TV ensure plenty of opportunities for relaxation. Doors lead through to the well-equipped kitchen, featuring handsome granite worktops and everything you need to keep the family well-fed. On the ground floor, you’ll also find a spacious twin bedroom and a wet-room-style shower room. Upstairs, two further bedrooms – one king-size and one twin – share a lovely bathroom with a bath, perfect for unwinding after a day of outdoor activity.
Soak up the fresh sea air from your very own garden, a peaceful spot with a lawn and a furnished patio. There’s plenty of seating for outdoor dining, and a BBQ is provided for when the sun shines above. There is private parking for two cars.
