Charming rural house in La Roza, a small traditional village in the heart of Asturias, surrounded by apple orchards, cider presses, and green hills. Our home offers a peaceful retreat for travelers who want to disconnect and enjoy nature, without giving up comfort. Fully renovated in 2023, it blends traditional Asturian charm with modern conveniences, making it perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends.
The house has two floors and a carefully decorated interior that respects local heritage. It features thick stone walls, exposed wooden beams, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Outside, a spacious covered porch with a table for 10 offers spectacular views of the mountains — ideal for breakfast at sunrise or dinners at sunset.
Inside, you'll find a cozy living room with a pellet fireplace and a comfortable sofa bed, perfect for relaxing on colder days. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and sharing meals, and includes a dining area with an extendable table. The house has three double bedrooms upstairs (two with double beds, one with a bunk bed), as well as a full bathroom on the ground floor and a half bath upstairs.
The large private garden includes fruit trees, seating areas, a swing, and the shade of a centuries-old yew tree. Children can play freely while adults relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. Free parking is available next to the house.
We are located just 7 km from Villaviciosa, a charming town known as the cider capital of Spain. It's a great place to explore on foot, with shops, markets, and a lively local culture. The area is also known for its historical heritage and natural beauty.
Just a few minutes away by car, you can visit the Monumental Complex of Valdediós, home to one of Asturias’ architectural gems: the pre-Romanesque church of San Salvador, also known as “El Conventín”. This peaceful valley is a favorite among visitors interested in history, spirituality, and scenic walks.
For hiking lovers, the nearby Cabranes hills offer a variety of trails through forests, meadows, and small traditional villages full of charm and character. The Camino de Santiago also passes through the region, offering a unique opportunity to explore a historic pilgrimage route in a less-traveled section.
While the house is set in the countryside, you’re just 20–25 minutes from some of Asturias’ most beautiful beaches, including the popular Playa de Rodiles. Whether you prefer a mountain walk or a day by the sea, this location gives you the best of both worlds.
We want every guest to feel at home from the moment they arrive. That’s why we put great care into preparing the house: clean, comfortable beds, quality linens, and thoughtful touches throughout. We also provide board games, books, and local guides to help you make the most of your stay.
We’re always happy to assist with recommendations, local tips, or questions. We love sharing our land with visitors, and it’s a joy to see how people find peace and inspiration here — whether watching the mist roll over the hills in the morning, sitting around the fire in the evening, or exploring the unique cultural treasures of the region.
Please note: the house is available for **weekly or biweekly stays in summer**, and for **weekends or longer stays during the rest of the year** (minimum 3 nights on holidays and long weekends). Availability may vary, so feel free to contact us with your dates.
Pets are not usually allowed, as some family members suffer from allergies. However, we may accept a small, well-behaved dog **if you commit to keeping it off the beds and sofas**, and to maintaining the space clean. Please ask before booking.
Whether you're looking for a digital detox, a family holiday, a romantic getaway, or a nature-filled adventure, our rural home in La Roza is a place where time slows down, and you can truly reconnect with what matters.
We look forward to welcoming you to this little corner of Asturias, where simplicity, beauty, and calm come together to create a memorable stay.
