Green room - at The Royal Lodge Dublin

Welcome to the Royal Lodge. Our Green Room offers a king-sized bed with a brand new mattress and great quality bedding.

This room is oozing with romance, and would be ideal for a couple. It would also be suitable for a single person who wants a more spacious room in a very central location of Dublin City.

The room overlooks North Circular Road, at the front of our home.

There is a wooden writing desk and chair, which is perfect for working remotely if you need it as well.

We’ve spent one year fully renovating our stylish and unique Edwardian townhouse, and we’re delighted to share our home with you.

Our house is full of character, with original coving, cornices, a hallway arch and fireplaces in the sitting room and bedrooms. We created the wall of mirrors to show our appreciation for antiques, with each one being collected and hand-picked. This is private room in shared space with other guests, so other areas like kitchen , living room , bathrooms are shared .

We loved our stay in the Green room! Mike’s home was so beautiful. I would recommend familiarizing yourself with bus routes or public transportation in Dublin because we did feel like it was a bit of a walk (20-25 minutes) from the city center, but the house itself was amazing.

Fantastic stay for a couple nights. Easy to find parking nearby (the parking passes were definitely worth paying for). The bed was comfortable and the atmosphere was great; love the vintage decor! The bedroom door locked, which I appreciate. Wifi was useful, had a strong signal. Check-in was easy and checkout was seamless and communication with the hosts was fantastic, they replied almost immediately to all my messages. There are 2 coffee shops on the corner for breakfast and everything was easy to walk to or drive to.

Michael and Eoin were very attentive and welcoming before and during our stay. We thought the location of the home was very convenient and were able to find parking in a neighboring garage down the street. We didn’t realize by the listing that the unit has a shared bathroom with the other bedrooms, but the bathroom was very clean and we thankfully only had other guests in the downstairs room one night of our stay. Other than that, all expectations based on the listing were met and we enjoyed staying here on our first stop of our Ireland visit! Thank you, Michael and Eoin!

The Royal Lodge was very nice, very clean, well-stocked, and very cute. It is centrally located (only a few minutes walk into the city centre, with plenty of buses running). The managers of this property were very helpful and gave us lot's of information. They were also very quick to respond to questions. The only negative was, the busy street our room faced, was a little noisy at night. Renting a car in this city is NOT recommended. Parking is limited and paid-parking was a pain! We would stay at the Lodge again.

Such an adorable spot full of character! The rooms were a bit smaller in person than appeared in the pictures and the second bathroom was more out of the way so it was mostly one bathroom shared between all guests and made getting ready tricky at times. Would book again for the charm The owners were great, responsive and gave us great recommendations around town.
