Welcome to this cozy and secluded cabin in Skillingsfors – the perfect retreat for those seeking peace, nature, and true relaxation. Tucked away in the heart of the forest, you’ll be surrounded by deep woods and mountains, with direct access to some of Värmland’s clearest lakes and most scenic hiking trails.



The cabin is spread over two floors and accommodates up to 6 guests. The ground floor features a fresh bathroom with shower, a functional kitchen ideal for holiday cooking, and a living room with TV and a sofa bed for two. Upstairs, you’ll find two charming bedrooms – each with two single beds – and a lovely balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee while gazing out over the forest and mountains.



Things to See and Do in Skillingsfors and Surroundings



Skillingsfors is located in the heart of the Värmland wilderness – a true paradise for nature lovers. Here you'll find endless forest trails to walk, run or bike, and numerous mirror-like lakes perfect for fishing, swimming, and peaceful canoe trips.



Bring your fishing rod to one of the many lakes known for their clean water and great fishing. Paddle through calm waterways, or pack a picnic and enjoy it at one of the many scenic spots with mountain and forest views.



In winter, explore cross-country ski trails and snowy landscapes. In summer, pick berries, enjoy forest picnics, or embrace the outdoors at your own pace.



In the village, you’ll find a small country store, charming farm cafés, and often local craft markets during the warmer months. For a day trip, both Charlottenberg and Norway’s Kongsvinger are within easy reach, offering shopping, culture, and dining.
