Downstairs, you’ll find a large, welcoming living room with a cosy wood-burning stove, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the fells. There’s also a separate snug with a cosy wood burner ideal for curling up with a book or a glass of wine. The dining room opens onto a private rear patio, ideal for al fresco dining in the warmer months and the well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need for your stay. Upstairs, four spacious bedrooms await, featuring super king, king, and twin beds, along with two sofa beds – all with their en-suite bathrooms.
Outside, a delightful garden to the front offers tranquil views and the gentle sound of the nearby stream – a peaceful spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening. Gillhead Farm Cottage is ideally located for exploring the Lake District. Walkers and cyclists will love the easy access to nearby trails including Blencathra, Helvellyn, and Aira Force.
