The caravan was nice but had trouble trying to open the lockbox Clubhouse was very good and reall y enjoyed it

My husband and I had a 3 night stay , October 2026, Easy key code entry, First impressions it was clean and tidy, Unfortunately All the curtains were torn, The smell on entering was awful, In the main bedroom the smell was even worse, ( Animal urine or damp maybe ) very overwhelming, We found a site worker to get the heating working after 2 hours of trying, He had to refire it back up !!The main bed was quite comfy but DO NOT RELY ON THE LOUNGE SOFA BED.The caravan is just very old and tired and obviously had a lot of use.Everything that should work did (Eventually) , location is as described, For us in our 50s it was a good 20min walk to beach and shops. Although there is a very well stocked shop opposite the caravan. Overall it was ok but for us we would not stay in that van again.
