Upper Dolarddyn, a lovely detached holiday house over three floors, consists of a kitchen with coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher, range electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, and tumble dryer, a dining room with dining seating and woodburning stove, a sitting room with Smart TV, woodburning stove, and a game room with table tennis. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite, second-floor king-size, twin, and second-floor twin. There is a bathroom, a shower room with walk-in shower and basin and heated towel rail, and cloakroom with basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a courtyard with picnic bench and fire pit. Large enclosed front lawn with benches and private driveway parking for four cars. Shop 0.7 miles, pub 0.8 miles. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to be kept on the ground floor only. Sorry, no smoking. Whatever the weather, a wonderful stay awaits at Upper Dolarddyn. Just eleven miles away is the market town of Newtown, where you will find a number of shops, pubs, museums and an art gallery. This scenic part of Mid Wales boasts many outdoor activities too, including walking, cycling and fishing along with a nearby clay pigeon shooting centre (of international repute) and a rally centre run by championship rally drivers. If you prefer a spot of history whilst staying in the area, the ruins of the ancient Motte and Bailey castles situated close by in the beautiful old county town of Montgomery, or the ruins of Dolforwyn Castle in the hills above the village of Abermule are well worth visiting. Visit the world-famous Powis Castle and Garden, often frequented by Prince Charles, or Aberdovey on the stunning Cardigan Bay coastline, a paradise for watersport enthusiasts, is within an hour’s drive.
