The House & Garden
Sunsets, stunning Art-Deco inspired interiors, enclosed garden with outdoor kitchen and dining. Westcliff is a 1930's property, a mere stroll away to Cromer beach, pier and town centre.
Sleeping six, recently refurbished with a colourful blend of new, bespoke and antique furnishings. New kitchen, luxury bathroom. Private parking for two cars and EV charger. The space is perfect for small groups or families with older children. Roomy enough to relax, connect, have fun or just take time out.
This family seaside home has been lovingly and colourfully restored as a fantastic space for a year-round break in Norfolk. We have made many memories here and we hope you do too!
Sitting on a quiet street, it's fabulous location means you are only a few minutes walk away from the beach, town centre, train station and supermarket. Fifty paces to the left is the Carnival field where you can enjoy panoramic views over the North Sea towards West Runton and Sheringham - the best place to catch the sunset.
Sleeping six over four bedrooms. Two Kingsize beds, one single and one set of bunks for big and not so big kids. Two bedrooms have partial sea-views. Hotel quality mattresses, goose feather and hypoallergenic pillows, high-quality thread count linens, privacy blinds, black-out curtains and USB charging points ensure a restful nights sleep.
A luxurious bathroom with walk-in rain shower, teeny-tiny freestanding tub (big enough for a soak) brass fixtures, oversized mirror and underfloor heating.
A large, peach coloured, hallway welcomes you into the sitting-room which has an original 1930's 'sandcastle' style fireplace. Comfy sofas, bespoke soft furnishings, Netflix ready TV, Roberts speaker and superb cocktail cabinet complete with glasses, recipe books, shaker and ice-bucket. A blender is provided. All you need is the alcohol (or not) of your choice.
The sunny dining room faces the pretty garden with climbing roses, honeysuckle and a huge fig-tree overlooking the lawn. A generous dining table for six, cosy reading nook, TV and Roberts speaker, along with Norfolk curated books, puzzles and traditional board games for when the weather is not so kind. Yoga mats are also provided for your sun-salutations and Shavasana.
The bright kitchen is packed with everything you need to make a slice of toast or a five course feast. All new Neff appliances, Dualit toaster and kettle and a Sage coffee machine to practice your latte art. There's also a cafetiere....just in case. A small breakfast nook is a gorgeous sun-trap, perfect for the first cup of tea of the day as well as a seat for midnight fridge raiding.
Even with Cromer's blue-flag beach practically on your doorstep, the outside area is what makes a stay here so fun and special. The beautiful garden is lit with ground lights and custom festoons making dining outside a magical experience. A 'Kamado Egg' style BBQ and Gozney pizza oven (90 seconds for a Margherita) brings everyone together.
The outdoor shower is fully tiled in deckchair stripes with hot and cold water so you can rinse off after a surf or wash your hair under the stars.
Welcome to Westcliff!
Other Things to Note
Whilst children are welcome at the property, cots and baby-gates etc. are not provided. A high-chair is available on request.
Housekeeping will make up beds according to number of guests and your preference on rooms.
