A beautifully decorated two bedroom retreat to visit stay, relax, write and create. Also perfect for those walking or cycling along the Ridgeway and in the fabulous Wiltshire countryside.
Solo travellers very welcome.
Ideal for anyone wanting a peaceful night’s sleep. The Swallows Rest, Avebury is a unique space in a black barn built in 1850 and converted in 1990s. The barn previously was used for sheep shearing and for cart horses for the nearby farm. The decor is a beautiful mix of vintage and modern pieces with a calming, soft feel. You will have your own private space here with a main bedroom and guest room (with a desk and sofa bed which can be made up for an additional guest). You also have access to a laundry room. Views over the pretty garden and adjoining farmland towards St James Church, Avebury. A quirky space where you’ll feel completely at home and will ‘have the best night’s sleep ever’ according to one recent guest.
