Adjacent to this space is a cosy, casual seating area around the wood-burning stove, located in the kitchen area, providing a warm & inviting spot to unwind after a day exploring. The terrace extends this outdoor living experience, ideal for al fresco dining or simply soaking up the tranquil landscape. Bedrooms & Bathrooms: The house features six comfortable bedrooms, including three king-size beds with memory foam mattresses and three twin rooms, ensuring restful nights for all. Beds are made up on arrival with cotton linen for a touch of luxury. There are three bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and two with baths and showers. All guests are supplied with large bath sheets and luxury toiletries in each bathroom. Rooftop Balcony: The first floor features a stunning decked balcony with a glass balustrade that surrounds the perimeter, providing uninterrupted panoramic views of Loch Tay and the surrounding rolling hills. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee, watch the sunrise, or simply soak in the spectacular scenery. Please note, for safety reasons, do not lean on the glass balustrade. This elevated outdoor space adds an extra element of luxury and serenity to your stay at Craggantoul House. Kitchen & Dining: The spacious kitchen is perfect for catering to large groups, equipped with two ovens, a super-sized hob, a dishwasher, a large fridge, plus an additional fridge and freezer in the utility room. Modern appliances such as a microwave and toaster complement the fully stocked space, making meal preparation easy. Essentials like tea, coffee, cleaning supplies, and initial stocks of firewood for the wood-burning stove are provided for your convenience. Outdoor & Estate: Guests are encouraged to explore the estate’s scenic grounds, with walking trails through ancient oak forests leading down to the loch, where we have trout fishing rights, providing a peaceful retreat. The estate’s diverse wildlife includes freely roaming deer and vibrant birdlife, highlighting its environmental significance as a designated Special Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI). Additional Features: Craggantoul House includes flat-screen TVs in the living room, kitchen, and two of the king bedrooms, along with limited Wi-Fi, a DVD player, and a Hi-Fi system. The property features oil-fired central heating, a hairdryer, luxury Sea Kelp hand soap & shampoo, an iron and ironing board, and laundry facilities. For families, high chairs & travel cots are available on request. Please note, the house is perfect for peaceful getaways but is not suitable for pets or raucous parties, ensuring all guests can enjoy the tranquillity of this magnificent setting. The closest villages are: Killin, which is just 7 miles away, and Kenmore, which is just 10 miles away, providing additional amenities and a welcoming local atmosphere. The house is amazing,comfortable with lots to do in games rooms and plenty space that we enjoyed.Host was kind,friendly and always available to call.The garden and outdoor space was fab and we felt safe to allow the kids their own freedom.We loved your holiday home
Beautiful spacious cozy house. Nice welcome and very quick to respond when we had an issue Saturday night. Handyman came out to help We would definitely recommend. Lovely grounds and the added treat of a visit from a badger! Kids were delighted!
