The Old Chapel - Telford - Sleeps 8

Through the front door and up a flight of stairs from the entrance hall, you arrive on the main floor under the chapel's original vaulted ceiling.

Living, kitchen and dining

One big open-plan room with tall arched windows, exposed beams and plenty of natural light. Settle in for a film on the projector screen with the popcorn we leave for you, or use the large TV. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher, with everything you need to cook for a group, and the dining table seats 6.

Bedrooms

Two double bedrooms on the main floor, each with its own en-suite with a bath and shower. The third bedroom is up on the mezzanine. All three have zip and link beds, made up as a king or two singles, so just let us know which you would like before you arrive. A double sofa bed in the lounge, with bedding provided, sleeps two more.

Bathrooms

Three bathrooms in total, plus a separate WC.

Outside and parking

A courtyard at the front, and a private driveway for three cars or two vans, with space for one more van on the road outside.

Also included

Free WiFi, a workspace and a washing machine. Dogs are welcome.

The Old Chapel is a duplex apartment inside a converted village chapel in Little Dawley, on the quiet southern edge of Telford. Walk up the stairs from the entrance hall and the first thing you notice is the original vaulted ceiling, with tall arched windows and exposed beams overhead.

LIVING SPACE

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area is where everyone ends up. There is plenty of comfortable seating, a large TV and a projector screen for film nights, and the arched windows let in lots of natural light. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher, with the cookware and utensils you need to cook for a group. The dining table seats 6.

SLEEPING

Sleeps 8. Two double bedrooms on the main floor each have their own en-suite with a bath and shower. The third bedroom is on the mezzanine. THE AREA

There are good country walks nearby. Ironbridge Gorge and its museums, including Blists Hill Victorian Town, are about 8 minutes' drive, and Telford Town Park, Southwater and Telford Shopping Centre are a short drive away. Halesfield and Stafford Park are an easy commute if you are here for work.
