Just 2.5 miles from Pooley Bridge and 3.8 miles from the historic market town of Penrith, the location is ideal for those looking to explore the stunning landscapes of the North Lakes.
Whether you’re venturing to the shores of Ullswater, hiking to Aira Force waterfall, or sailing on the lake aboard one of the iconic steamers to Glenridding, you’ll find adventure within easy reach. The nearby Fells and trails offer endless walking opportunities, while the scenery provides a tranquil setting for those simply looking to unwind.
The cottage is also well-positioned for exploring the wider region, with junction 40 of the M6 just a short drive away, making access easy for weekend breaks or longer stays. Keswick, Derwentwater, and the heart of the Lake District are all reachable within a scenic drive.
Back at the cottage, you’ll find a comfortable base to return to after a day out in nature. A small courtyard to the front offers a lovely spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Inside, the open-plan lounge and dining area features a characterful fireplace with a complimentary basket of logs, a perfect place to relax.
