Escape to the mountains at Vikinggrenda 12B, a warm and stylish log cabin perfectly located for a memorable stay in Trysil. With ski-in/ski-out access, a private sauna, a cosy indoor fireplace, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and ski slopes, the cabin is an ideal retreat for families, couples, or friends.

The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across three bedrooms with a mix of king- and queen-size beds. Natural wood interiors and classic mountain-cabin character are combined with modern comforts, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere throughout.

After a day on the slopes, return to the cabin, light the fireplace, and unwind in your own private sauna. The open-plan living and dining area is perfect for relaxed evenings together, whether you are enjoying dinner, watching a movie or simply settling in by the fire.

The fully equipped American-style kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay, including a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, cooking essentials, and complete tableware.

Step outside onto the private terrace, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and make use of the BBQ while taking in the surrounding alpine scenery. Restaurants and cafés are located only around 100 meters away, making it easy to enjoy the area without having to drive.

The cabin also offers two TVs, fast WiFi and Ethernet connection, a washing machine, heating throughout, free private parking, bed linen, towels, and essential toiletries. Pets are welcome.

General House Rules

No smoking is allowed inside the property. Please do not leave cigarette butts outside. If smoking occurs indoors, an additional cleaning fee may be charged.

Please do not wear outdoor shoes inside. We recommend bringing slippers for extra comfort.

Always use the kitchen fan when cooking.

Heating
The property may have thermostats by the entrance, bathroom, or other rooms. To adjust the temperature, open the thermostat cover and use the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the heat.

Fireplace Use
Please use fire starters and a small amount of firewood when lighting the fireplace. Filling the fireplace with too much wood will not make it heat up faster.

Only use firewood in the fireplace. Do not burn cardboard, paper, trash, or any other materials, as this can be dangerous and may cause a chimney fire.

If you need more firewood, it can be purchased at grocery stores and gas stations.

Sauna Use
Always sit on a towel when using the sauna.

If the sauna has an adjustable dial, please follow the instructions provided at the property. In general, avoid turning the sauna heater higher than recommended, as this may prevent it from heating properly. It usually takes about 1 hour for the sauna to warm up.
