The Walton Home offers renters a true taste of the South. Built in 1834 and listed on the National Historic Registry of old homes, this two-story cottage is fully-furnished in period pieces with a wide front porch gallery and an enclosed back porch for comfortable lounging. Amenities include 3 bathrooms, a kitchen w/stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. A washer/dryer and flat screen TV with cable are also available. The residence is a brief two-block walk to Canton's historic district. The Natchez Trace and Ross Barnett Reservoir are a quick drive away. Comfortably sleeps four with an additional upstairs Stickley daybed (a roll out cot is also available in the upstairs left bedroom). Sorry to hear about the neighbor! No one should be on that property. It’s in the process of being condemned. I will let the board of aldermen know the property was inhabited.
