About this property
I Trulli delle Sette Sorelle
A panoramic rustic-chic trullo conversion with fabulous outdoor spaces and a sea-view infinity pool.
I Trulli delle Sette Sorelle occupies a fabulous position in the hills above Monopoli on Puglia’s Adriatic coast. The views from the delightful terraces, pool and gardens that surround the house are at once calming and inspiring: vast swathes of olive trees and vineyards extend in a carpet of green towards the sea, tempting guests to leave the comfort of their home away from home to explore the delights of Puglia.
Inside: as the name suggests, I Trulli delle Sette Sorelle comprises seven original trulli joined together to create flowing internal spaces. Access is possible from several points but for ease of description we shall start at the far left end (when looking out to sea).
From here, one accesses the main indoor living area, which is furnished with North African furniture. A door opens out onto the shady sea-view terrace and an archway leads into a second living area.
Another open arch leads through to a second living area, which is served by an en-suite shower room. A door then leads through to a further sitting and dining area, from which one accesses the kitchen to the rear of the house, the sea-view gardens to the front and the double bedroom to the side. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room and its own access to a small cane-shaded terrace.
Outside: the trulli are surrounded by beautifully-tended gardens, with colourful Mediterranean flora, fruit and olive trees and luscious green lawns interspersed with stone-tiled terraces and paths.
The main focal point is the large furnished shady terrace with fabulous sea views. Here is the main al fresco dining and living area, comfortably furnished with sofas and a large table.
Across a stretch of lawn and slightly protruding from the perimeter wall is another fabulous sea-view terrace.
To the other end of the house, just outside the master bedroom is a small but equally panoramic terrace. From here it is just a hop, skip and a jump to the dreamy infinity pool, which is oriented towards the sea.
To the rear, and conveniently accessed from the kitchen, is another shady terrace area complete with barbecue.
I Trulli delle Sette Sorelle features a fantastic infinity pool, offering swimmers stunning views while in the pool. There is a drop off the infinity side so we recommend children are supervised at all times. Please refer to our general safety page if you would like more information about infinity pools.
Please note that there is no real shallow end in the pool, whose minimum depth is over 1.3m.
Due to the nature of the property including terraces low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.
Depending on the direction of the wind, traffic noise may occasionally be audible in certain areas of the grounds.
Arrival details will be confirmed by The Thinking Traveller after your villa is confirmed.
The Thinking Traveller can organise transfers and car hire and an agent will be in touch with you once your villa is confirmed.
