A Slice Of Desert Paradise!
We had the best time here! The property is perfect for families - including those with dogs, like us. Completely fenced and secure; terrific saltwater heated pool; lovely deck and patio; spacious, bright house and kitchen, new and large laundry on the main floor. The owners are very generous with their time and help; available promptly for anything. Location is perfect for those who want peace and quiet; close to Saguaro East; Sabino; and Bear Canyon, with good restaurants and services nearby. It was a house we could really relax in and enjoy the comforts of home!

Great experience
We stayed at this house for a week, and had an overall excellent experience. Debbie and Jeff made themselves available to answer all our questions ams were very kind and reachable. They did everything they could to ensure we had a peaceful stay. The house was even nicer than the pictures/ listing made it appear. It fit our family of eight comfortably. Being pet friendly was a must for us, and small things like the hammock, goody basket, and personal note enhanced the overall stay. The area/ neighborhood were beautiful, being right next to the mountains in a quiet area, but not too far from shops etc.

About the host

At the age of 9, on a family vacation going from New Jersey to California in a small plane piloted by my father, we made a stop in Tucson to refuel and I was hooked. I loved Tucson from the moment I set eyes on it and vowed to return someday to live. Fast forward twenty five years and my dream came true. My husband and I and our 5 yr old twins finally made it here where we have happily lived for 37 years. I am am now a real estate broker with my own company and in business with my son. We are now branching out to other states but are always happy to return to Tucson. My husband is a retired social worker who is happy to hold down the fort while we are away. We love to travel and meet new people and enjoy sharing our home so that others can appreciate all that Tucson has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Our home is situated on 2/3 acre in the beautiful northeast foothills of Tucson with stunning views of the Santa Catalina mountain range as well as the Rincon Mountains to the east and the Santa Rita Mountains in the distance. We are convenient to everything Tucson has to offer but far enough out to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the high desert. There are buried power lines in our neighborhood affording unobstructed views of the ever-changing landscape.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this property because of the amazing views but only realized how much more it had to offer after moving in. We enjoy almost daily sightings of the abundant native wildlife including coyotes, javelina, rabbits, quail, roadrunners, Gila woodpeckers, hummingbirds, owls and other birds of prey, as well as the occasional but always exciting glimpse of bobcats and mountain lions. It's a nature lovers' paradise yet so close to all of the necessary amenities of the larger community.
