The Perfect Getaway! Ground-Level Villa at The Lodge, formerly Interlaken.

Lake Geneva ground-level villa sits on the shore of Lake Como, offering its marina, pool & tennis court. Our lake home provides a tranquil getaway without sacrificing the ability to enjoy Lake Geneva's downtown experience just a few miles away. This very comfortable condo features a full-sized kitchen, large living room and dining area, 2 comfy beds, 1 queen ( no door on second bedroom) 1 king, and a pullout full sleeper sofa. A walkout saw patio overlooks a wooded green space with some lake views. The walkway leads down to the beautiful, mile-long Lake Como. You can cook in, with the glass top electric range or outdoor electric grill, or eat out at one of the many fine restaurants in the area. (2nd bedroom has no door)

Enjoy the newest in Lake Geneva resort communities here at The Geneva Ridge, formerly Interlaken. Guests can stay in and relax by the fireplace, or take in many of the outdoor amenities. It is located just a short drive from downtown Lake Geneva where you can spend a day out on the lake, shopping in the unique shops in town, or grabbing a bite to eat. Be sure to take a tour of the lake or try the new Canopy Tours offered just north of Lake Geneva. Geneva National Golf Course is nearby for all of your golfing adventures.

Steps

We would stay here again. Relaxing. The villa is on a terraced hill. If you park in front of the villa there are 24 steps up to the front door. It is better to park in the back of the villa (near villa 80). There are only 9 steps from the back parking area. There are no elevators, so the stairs might be a factor to some guests.

Cute cottage, but not for us

A VERY cute condo cottage in a villa on the lake. However, no significant lake view from this cottage. Due to the long stairway to the front of the cottage, access was an annoyance for us as we are in our 60s and have some knee/foot issues. As well, the gas fireplace is a "manual light" and the HVAC units are pretty noisy. For us, the bed was not that comfortable. A great value for many people, but not a fit for us.

A bit misleading...

While the location was pretty much as described... the unit wasn't exactly what we expected. The unit is listed as a two bedroom unit with two king size beds. In actuality I'm really not sure how you can call the second bedroom a bedroom when it doesn't have a door! And the bed is queen not a king. ( not really a big deal). The bathroom linens could stand a refresh as well as the lovseat in the living room. All in all we had a nice stay, but we think its important to represent a VRBO unit accurately. Which this unit was not.

Very cute place

Directions to correct unit where wrong on the app. The door did not seal properly and you could feel the cold air coming in, so floors were very cold. Opened the blinds and slats would fall off. Same with the shower curtain, one of the hooks just fell off and broke. Certainly could use some touch up of paint in different areas. Decorating was very cute!!!!

Nice decor. Location misrepresented. No lake view. Needs a plumber to fix sink stopper and shower faucet to something people can use easily or that works. Key lock instructions need to say:enter 0000 then turn key lock to left. Needs new mattresses. Noisy ..appeared to be surrounded by resort early morning workers..4-4:30a m Not worth the cost . Disappointed!

This condo is clean and cute. It's a lovely place to stay but you need to be in good shape to get there due to the maze of stairs in this complex. My husband uses a cane so we can't stay there again but I believe a younger couple would be happy there, it's a nice area.

Beautifully decorated cozy condo.

As described, the second bedroom has no door which created a bit of a situation for our group. If you need to communicate with host, be sure to call instead of message. Had difficulty communicating early on but problems were solved by the second day of our trip.

This was the perfect get-together spot for my husband and I and our friends - just the right size for two couples. The neighborhood is really lovely and quiet and is just a few short minutes from the shops and restaurants of Lake Geneva. We especially appreciated how clean everything was, and the pricing was good, too! We stayed there for 4 days/3 nights and enjoyed every minute.There were a few things that we felt could have made the stay more comfortable: There weren't any dish towels for drying dishes, nor were there any Kleenex, foil or plastic wrap. There were only 4 bath towels, which was okay for our short stay, but with 4 adults over the course of several days, it would have been pretty tight. There were also only 2 rolls of toilet paper, which meant we had to go buy more after a couple of days. You might want to ask the host about these things when packing, so that you can be better prepared than we were. But again, overall a really great stay.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend with a couple of my friends and it was great! We walked down to lake como and ate at the ridge, and swimmed as well. Great distance and Ubers are cheap to both ends of the lake!
