No children under 12 years or pets due to safety.
The Property:
The house is located on an island looking out to the river Thames. In the main cottage there are 2 downstairs double bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a loft-style room upstairs with 4 mini double beds and separate en-suite shower. There is a spacious open plan living area with open fireplace, board games and plenty of seating. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay.
There are 2 self-contained outbuildings: ‘The Boathouse’ and ‘The Summerhouse’. The Boathouse has a king-sized bed, tea and coffee making facilities, ensuite with bath and shower, tv, balcony seating and desk area. The Summerhouse has a super king-sized bed with ensuite shower room, tea and coffee making facilities including a large fridge for drinks storage.
Outside there is a variety of seating both at the front and rear of the property, ideal for family get-togethers and hosting. A large gas barbeque, table tennis table and hot tub are provided for entertainment.
During your stay we will also provide you with a boat. This can be used to access the property and for free use during your stay. The boat can be taken into the town centre and moored at The Angel on the Bridge pub or taken through the locks. Life jackets and a safety ring will be provided.
