Step from the historic streets of Nunney, Frome to behold this newly refurbished gem. Fit for Home and Country magazine this quaint cottage with original features has stylish interiors, thoughtful touches and quality furniture. Every detail considered and delivered with heart. The charming courtyard garden with views of Nunney Castle is the perfect sun trap to relax after a day sightseeing, dining at the local gastro pub, strolling by the river or taking in the shops and popular Frome Markets.
The Space:
The cottage resides on a quiet street by Nunney Castle. Parking is plentiful and just by the cottage you have a beautiful walks, a stream teeming with ducks and other wildlife, a great café, Gastro pub and local shop which sells local produce. Frome is a 5-minute drive and there are regular busses if you prefer.
A gate off the street with electric keypad, leads to a short pathway and further gate that opens to reveal your own little oasis. The thoughtfully designed courtyard garden is laid out to the front of the cottage, and this is the entrance and exit to the property. The garden features lighting and dining table and chairs that are perfectly angled for full evening sun. The garden is totally private and isn’t overlooked however you have a great view of Nunney Castle above the treetops.
You enter via a small, tiled lobby with coat hooks and stone floor, through to the open plan lounge / dining space which is flooded with light, stunning design features and historic charm. Soft carpet underfoot, log burning fire, SMART TV with catch up channels and dining space. All beautifully thought out and with our esteemed guests comfort in mind.
N/B: Logs and kindling can be purchased from the Spar a two minute walk away from the property. The fire is swept and ready to use.
The lounge leads to well equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker and plenty of room for cooking up a feast.
On the first floor you have two well-appointed, stylish bedrooms, with premium hotel quality linens, bath sheets and space to hang and fold away clothes. The newly refurbished bathroom has a shower and small bath, plus premium toiletries for your convenience.
Guest Access:
On arrival you pass through a locked gate and walk down a path past the garden of the neighbour. They are wonderful people and very accommodating. Though another gate and you are in the ground of the cottage and it is very private.
The whole house is yours to use with no restrictions. Parking is very easy and generally there is a space just to the front of the house.

This property is in the perfect location to experience all the local area has to offer, yet resides in a quiet village on the outskirts of bustling Frome, so its peaceful yet ha all the amenities you could wish for.
Frome itself was highlighted as one of the Times "Best Places to Live in Britain", Frome is a welcoming, charming, and vibrant town with a rich history, culture, and natural beauty. It is packed with historic buildings, independent shops, and creative individuals, making it an inspiring and unique destination. Frome's historic center is filled with architectural interest and a thriving contemporary arts scene.
As the original Somerset Market Town, Frome hosts regular markets on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, along with 'The Frome Independent Market' on the first Sunday of each month from March to December.
