Town: The small village of Wombleton lies in Ryedale, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The pretty market towns of Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside are nearby with good restaurants, tea rooms and individual shops. Ryedale Folk museum, Helmsley Castle and walled gardens are well worth a visit.
