Step outside into your own private garden and discover the real magic of Mallards, in the adjoining field is a a see-through garden pod designed for relaxation and stargazing or sitting amongst the friendly alpacas and donkeys.

Mallards is only a mile from the local pub and a short distance away to the historic town of Bury St Edmunds, home to Green King brewery, where you will find restaurants, a market, shops, Abbey gardens and the famous cathedral. The APEX theatre has shows on all year round. The best way to discover Bury is by doing a town trail. If you like historical houses pop along to Ickworth house, an Italianate palace. The mid Suffolk light railway takes you on a steam train ride through the Suffolk countryside and they hold special events throughout the year.

If you fancy a day at the coast, then the stunning Suffolk Coast is a perfect day out. Visit Aldeburgh with the famous shell sculpture on the beach, take a stroll round the fisherman’s huts for fresh fish and small independent shops and cafes, just a bit further is Southwold, a quintessentially British seaside experience, featuring a charming sandy beach, colourful beach huts, a historic pier, and a prominent lighthouse.
