About this property
Gervic Cottage, Llangrannog
Gervic Cottage is a traditional stone-built Welsh cottage located in the beautiful seaside village of Llangrannog, Ceredigion. The property has been sympathetically restored, so it feels cosy yet light and airy.
It’s just a short stroll to Llangrannog beach and only a few minutes from the All Wales Coastal Path. Llangrannog boasts a pub, a café, restaurant, fish and chip shop and an award-winning pizza takeaway.
There are 2 sandy beaches which are excellent all year round. Popular with families, surfers or just for relaxing and watching the world go by. From the main beach at Llangrannog, it is possible to walk round to the second beach at low tide, and here you can spot the incredible bottlenose dolphins that reside in the bay.
Other places of interest up and down the coast include the tiny village of Tresaith, the famous fishing harbour of New Quay from where you can tour the bay by boat, and the colourful Georgian town of Aberaeron, full of charm. The National Trust beaches of Penbryn and Mwnt are well worth a visit, too.
Further afield, the market town of Cardigan, just 10 miles away, has supermarkets, a cinema/theatre complex, a leisure centre and a variety of shops and eating places.
