The old town of Alonnisos, perched on a hilltop with dramatic sea views and teeming with cafes, restaurants and interesting shops, is only a 15-minute walk along the traditional donkey path. From the villa themself there are dramatic views over the port of Patitiri and onwards towards the twin islets of Ta Dio Adelfia (the two brothers) and the tail end of Persitera island. Be prepared for beautiful sunrises.
