From the apartment you can stroll in to the village to find slate cottages and cosy cafes or Tintagel Beach which sits just below the monument. Head along the South West Coast Path to Bossiney Cove (1.5 miles), where a tucked-away beach with soft sand and turquoise water awaits you. Trebarwith Strand, 2.5 miles to the south, is lively with bodyboarders, rock poolers and those seeking a pint with a sea view. Nearby, wander through the mossy, tree-lined trail to St Nectan's Glen (2.5 miles) and its waterfall. Padstow and Polzeath are both within 25 miles.
