The house has been decorated with attractive, bright decor and makes a comfy and relaxing place to stay. Put your feet up and the TV on in the spacious living room or do a bit of work at the desk. Light the gas fire on chilly evenings, cook delicious dinners in the kitchen listening to the radio or your iPod and eat together in the dining area, then relax in the conservatory, where doors lead out to the garden. There’s also a handy cloakroom on the ground floor. The family shower room and three bedrooms are upstairs: a lovely bright double bedroom with a TV, a pretty twin room in relaxing hues and a single room, with a TV, radio and iPod dock it’s perfect for teens. Take your cup of tea out to the garden to soak up the sunshine and enjoy meals al fresco on the patio.

Explore the area on foot or by bike, the village is on the edge of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with stunning scenery. Visit the beaches and pier at Southwold (3.5 miles), watch a movie in style at the picture palace cinema, catch the small ferry across the river to Walberswick to go crabbing. Play a round at Halesworth Golf Club (7.5 miles), set in 200 acres of stunning countryside, and book tickets for a performance at outdoor Thorington Theatre (5 miles).
