Closer to your doorstep, enjoy towpath walks along the Louth Canal – stroll 2 miles east and Alvingham is famous for having two churches in one churchyard. Known for its sandy beaches and diverse natural landscapes, the Lincolnshire coastline is within striking distance too. Just 11.5 miles away, the resident seal colony makes Donna Nook Nature Reserve a must-see, while Mablethorpe (14.5 miles) offers a traditional seaside vibe with its charming promenade and golden sands.
