You can enjoy a romantic meal for two in the charming dining room, and the stylishly equipped kitchen has a handy additional breakfast bar. The ground floor also offers a refreshing bathroom. Upstairs, the pretty bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed, TV, feature fireplace and ceiling beams. Stepping outside, the enclosed back garden has outdoor furniture and beautiful views across the countryside and towards the coast, making this an ideal spot for sitting back with a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon.
Lying close to the estuary of the River Deben, the picturesque village of Bawdsey is a great base for discovering the Bawdsey Peninsula’s beautiful heathland, lush pine forests and friendly pubs. Local attractions include Sutton Hoo, Bawdsey Manor, Parham Airfield Museum and Bentwaters Cold War Museum, all within 17 miles. Walking south along the coast you can cross the river to reach the traditional seaside town of Felixstowe (6 miles). Heading north, you can explore the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is home to the stunning Orford Ness National Nature Reserve (12.5 miles).
