Built by the Victorians to protect Portland Harbour, guests can uncover hundreds of years of history at Nothe Fort (5 miles), which offers breathtaking views out towards the Isle of Portland and across Weymouth Bay. There’s something for the whole family to enjoy at the 17th-century Lulworth Castle (17.5 miles), which offers extensive parkland, woodland walks and a children’s playground to discover. Famed for its panoramic views, unique geology and crystal-clear waters, the iconic Lulworth Cove (14.5 miles) is a must-see.
