Nearby, Cober Valley (4 miles) is a beautiful spot for shady walks on hot days.

One of a trio of cottages, this charming property has an inviting atmosphere, soothing colour palettes, and carefully selected interior designs, creating refined elegance. Downstairs is a spacious and scenic open-plan living room – the heart of the cottage. The cosy sofas and armchairs allow you to admire the views or indulge in your favourite box sets on the Smart TV. The warm glow of the wood burner adds ambience on cooler evenings. A sleek kitchen with quartz worktops has all you need to make meal preparation a breeze. At night, head down the exquisite wooden staircase to find four sumptuous bedrooms: two super-king-size, one with an en-suite shower room, one king-size and a twin (super-king on request). Two of the bedrooms offer direct access to the terrace, allowing you to bask in the sun and enjoy a cooling breeze. A separate family bathroom completes this level. The cottage location is a gateway to iconic Cornish treasures. Walkers can head less than 10 miles south to explore the breathtaking scenery around Lizard Point. From Marazion Beach (10 miles), cross to St Michael’s Mount, but check the tide times before venturing across the causeway. And for a unique cultural experience book tickets for the outdoor Minack Theatre at Porthcurno (20 miles), with shows throughout the spring and summer and nearby views of unforgettable blue/green sea along the coastline.
