A traditional cottage in the quiet Welsh hamlet of Pentre-Bach, this delightful retreat is perfect for couples and smaller families exploring a tranquil northern quarter of the glorious Brecon Beacons National Park. Offering cosy and welcoming accommodation for four guests, the sympathetically updated bolthole features a roaring wood burner, timber beams, flagstone flooring and exposed brickwork. The glorious Brecon Beacons National Park sits immediately to the south (2 miles), offering miles of unforgettable walking and cycling trails. We stayed over a bank holiday weekend and the cottage was spotless and beautifully kept. It felt genuinely homely rather than the typical holiday cottage/B&B feel… The cottage was very well equipped and the log burner made the evenings super cosy. It was an ideal location for us running part of the Epynt Way and Mountain biking in the Brecon Beacons. A fab stay and we have already booked another stay for the summer!
Stayed 2 nights in May 2026
