Beautiful house on its own island. Sit on your terrace and listen to the water rushing by or take a boat trip on the river.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Sleigh Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder available locally. Welcome pack. Front garden with sitting-out area, terrace and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced river in the grounds.. The private garden area overlooks the river and weir where you can sit and listen to bird song or enjoy and evening tipple.
There are many walks right outside the door, with a stroll along the tow path with its many barges and watch the lock being opened and tea room with the most amazing cakes and snacks. For those seeking adventure, Island House, serves as an ideal base for exploring the myriad of attractions that Chelmsford and its surrounding areas have to offer.
