On arrival I found the property to be very duty. Having to clean to property myself, having to put everything though the dishwasher. Washing manchine was so bad I would even wash pet towels in it. Fridge had mould in it. Floors hadn't been cleaned. Bins needed a good clean.Non of the pictures on the website match the property, there are not pictures on the walls. Blinds don't work and have water marks on them. To watch the telly you need to move the table but then you can get into the fridge or use the kitchen. The property claims it can sleep 5. But there is only room for 4 at the table, 2 on the sofa and crockery for 3/4. The only good thing is its in a good location and thats about it. .Stay well away from this property....
We arrived in London looking forward to another great visit. After getting the keys from a lock box located in a smelly bin room we lugged our baggage up the three full flights of stairs ( we knew that there was no lift). We entered the apartment and that is when things changed. The place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The white walls were full of scuff marks as well as some of the ceilings. The blind in the main bedroom was filthy - we were scared to touch it. Two of the blinds were stuck in the windows and you needed a chair or ladder to fix them. My wife took a rag and wiped the bathroom sink, counter , etc and the rag was full of dirt. The light in the kitchen was black from dust and dirt. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. The end tables had broken glass tops and one of the lamps looked like it had been crushed. I did contact VRBO but had difficulty communicating with them so I contacted the owner who responded by saying that he had seen pictures from the cleaners and that the place was clean - he finally sent a gentleman over who scrubbed the walls and did a bit of cleaner making it slightly better. Two positive things were that the fridge was good and the apartments location is excellent. The TV worked off your computer or apps so we couldn’t watch it. If you think that the apartment you are getting is the one in the VRBO ad you are being misled - there were no pictures on the walls and it was not decorated at all. RENTER BEWARE!

The property is clearly advertised as not having a lift, which you acknowledged prior to booking. The TV is a smart TV operating via WiFi and streaming apps, as described.
Your claims of uncleanliness and misrepresentation were reviewed by Vrbo and dismissed as baseless, likely reflecting the same exaggeration in your review. Nevertheless, we arranged for a cleaner to attend promptly to address any concerns.
Despite that you still didn’t bother to put the keys back in the key safe when you left, claiming you couldn’t open the door to where all the key safes are housed - perhaps it was approached with the same daintiness and trepidation as to the blinds in the flat. Or perhaps you are just rude and entitled people frustrated that your false claims in pursuit of a refund were exposed for what they were.
