About the host
Hosted by Host
We love France and are proud to care for a beautiful, spacious home in a stunning part of the country. With extensive experience in UK tourism and hospitality, Peter has returned to the area where he previously lived and owned a carp angling business for ten years. Linda also has a background in hospitality and nursing. We enjoy travelling, exploring nature, and have a passion for cooking, good food, and wine, making the region’s renowned gastronomy especially meaningful to us. We have enjoyed renovating Place of the Goddess and learning about the area's history, which includes sites from both world wars. The land still bears scars of past conflicts, with cemeteries, monuments, and remnants of villages destroyed by shelling nearby. Today, the region is celebrated for its rolling countryside, lakes, rivers, friendly communities, and local produce, which we have truly fallen in love with. Our goal is to offer guests a warm, authentic experience in this remarkable part of France.
